The first step to go 3D is to go back to THE GOSPEL. The Gospel is about righteousness, and how God gets us there. If we do not understand how to be The Righteousness of God, we can not really go 3D.
The 3rd Day Way is a 3-D Way:
1) Denial and destruction of the soul
2) Death daily with Jesus on the cross
3) Dressed daily in the robe of righteousness
Without the continual denial of self, which simply means saying no to what we want, until the soul as an independent agent is destroyed, there will be no complete repentance from dead works. Without this repentance, we as living stones will keep jumping off The Foundation Jesus, simply because we do not understand what the hell we are doing. And it is "doing hell", because the gates of hell are in the soul and the demonic descent begins with the assertion of the religious soul. And it can ultimately be "doing hell", because if we do not abide in Him we will be thrown away as a branch.
We see right away in this first point about the 3D Way that THE issue we face is eternal judgment, which is why God wrote down all the examples of Israel and what happened to them when they did it. It all happened for us because we are living in the age that will end with eternal judgment. The 3D Way is definitely a deadly serious way. In fact it is a choice of eternal life or eternal death, and we are the ones who make the decisions which make THE DECISION.
In our daily death to ourselves [= our souls], through taking up our cross daily - it is on the day you take up your cross that you die - we are prepared for our daily entry through resurrection into the New Life we have in Jesus Christ. So, getting back to The Gospel means first of all getting back to obedience to the first demands of discipleship, denial of soul, destruction of soul, and daily death with Jesus in which we must live as a definite reality. The 3D way gives deeper and deeper depth perception into our daily dilemma.
After death with Christ comes life in Christ. The 3rd Day Way is also a 3R Way
1) Redemption
2) Recreation
3) Resurrection
Faith toward God is primarily faith for Righteousness, because The Gospel is the revelation of Righteousness of God. God's Righteousness comes to us in three ways.
First of all, through The Blood of Jesus, who is The Lamb of God. Because of the faith of Jesus in His own blood, God made freely made everyone righteous, took away the sin of the whole world, and cleansed everyone. This is why God told Peter not to call anyone unholy. The Blood of Jesus had sanctified and perfected them forever.
However, because God created us to be co-workers with Him, and because he works by His faith, we have to hear The Good News of what He has done by the Blood of Jesus. When we hear, and receive from Jesus a gift of a measure of His own faith, we are recreated or reborn. This new self is totally perfect, created in the Righteousness of God and The Holiness of The Truth, that is Jesus. This new self can never sin, because it is born of the only Holy [sinless] God. If we do not understand the recreation in this way, we will slip into profaning The Holy Name by inadvertently suggesting He father's sinners.
So the redeeming blood cleanses us from everything in our past. Receiving the Word of Faith and with it the gift of some of the faith of Jesus creates a totally righteous New Self, who is Christ in us the expectation of glory. To enter that glory, however, we must always go through exactly what Jesus Himself went through in His entry into glory - death and resurrection!
This means the 3Ds are not lost or done away with, but are essential for entry into the 3Rs. This is just one way we touch the eternal truth of the 3D Way. It also means we are responsible to enter. Jesus told us to agonize to enter. Paul said agonize the good agony. This good agony is the denial and death of our old self in order to enter by resurrection into the New Self which is righteous and holy.
To understand that the 3D Way is 3D and 3R, we must understand that we have two "Is". Ask the question, "how many eye's you got?" To go the 3D Way, we've got to know we have one "I" which has the ability to sin and has been sinning, but doesn't have to sin. We also have to know that our other "I" can not sin. When we have asked ourselves these questions, and answered them correctly, then we have to ask ourselves, will I agonize to enter into the New "I", the New Self.
Obviously, if we had to do this own our own, we know we would be eternal history. But God has stepped in. As we continue through Hebrews 6 we see that the 3rd D Way is not only 3D and 3R, it is also 3B. The three baptisms in the doctrine of baptisms are the 3Bs.
First, at the point of hearing the Word of Faith and receiving a measure of the faith of Jesus and thereby being reborn, The Holy Spirit baptizes us into the Body of Christ.
Second, the Body of Christ, the Church, baptizes our body in water in order that God can put us into what Jesus experienced in His body on the cross and in the grave. This is so we can be resurrected to walk in New Life.
Third, Jesus baptizes us in The Holy Spirit. This is so we can do the same works He did in the power of The Holy Spirit.
Then we are a totally new creation, our citizenship is in heaven, and we are prepared to live the new life of faith. Since the essence of faith is to speak creatively, the creature made totally new has a new language to speak that comes from our homeland in heaven. Speaking in this new language is in partnership, prayer, and proclamation out of our new spirit by The Holy Spirit. It is the basic and essential way to be led in a 3D life.
Finally, 3D life means 3M life. Members of the Body have to be together in the order God has for them. Elbows between upper and lower arms, and all that. When the members are in the two kinds of cell groups [??,] the 2 or 3 groups and the 12 group with a pastor, then the 3D life will mean a life of manifestations and ministry. Both of these come to us [or can come .. ] through the laying on of hands, and often both are done in conjunction with the laying on of hands. The laying on of hands is a basic means of ministry, both within The Body at all "levels", from the cell to the elders of the city, and even outside the body in healing evangelism.
To go 3D, this is The Way we've got to go. It is The Gospel Way. It is the only way. It's 3D, 3R, 3B, and 3M, with supernatural results manifested in supernatural speaking and supernatural touching. It requires faith in continual resurrection. It is motivated by the knowledge that our eternal judgment is determined by our choice to go 3D!
